Have a special check layout that you use for your business checks? Click on ‘Layouts,’ and select ‘Create New Layout.’ In the Layout Wizard, select ‘Blank.’ Within the ‘Settings’ option, select ‘Add Image’ to upload a scanned image of your pre-printed check stock to add to your choices. From within that layout, you can make any needed modifications and then select it as your default layout so that all future checks will use that layout automatically. Checkeeper’s image-uploading feature makes it easy to upload a check design once and use it forever.
If there is a Checkeeper layout that approximates the check stock you’d like to use, select that layout and, within ‘Add Elements,’ move the check elements around to better match your preferred design. Use the drag-and-drop feature to move elements onto and off of your check. The right-side menu inside your check layout offers a variety of pertinent check elements that you can choose from to place on your check. Simply click and drag the elements of choice and position them where you want them.
When you want to add a logo or design image to your check, use the image-uploading feature to transfer desired images from your device to your checks. Within your desired layout, select the tab for images, and upload an image or logo to the saved image menu you draw from when creating your checks.
Have a high-volume check order that needs to go out promptly? Many businesses have occasions where they have to send out hundreds or thousands of checks at once, for customer rebates, refunds, reimbursements, settlements, or other types of mass payments. Printing, addressing, and mailing all those checks yourself—or adding the task to your staff’s already-full to-do list—will drain a lot of time and resources. Checkeeper prints and mails checks all day and can easily take on your list for a high-volume check order. Drag and drop your CSV file, or upload it through your files into the Checkeeper template, and let Checkeeper do the rest. To upload a CSV file for checks, select ‘Create’ and an option for ‘Import Checks’ will appear in the box under ‘Create New Check.’ You will then be taken to a screen with the option to drag-drop or upload your CSV file containing all the relevant payment information for Checkeeper to use to print and mail your checks efficiently.
Have invoice tables you want printed on your checks? Have attachments that you want mailed with your checks? Drag-and-drop files from your computer to even further customize your mailings. Within ‘Settings,’ along the left-hand margin, turn on the option for ‘Mail attachment with check.’ Then create your check to be printed and mailed by Checkeeper, and scroll down the screen to find the option to attach a document. Drop your intended attachment instantly, or select ‘Browse’ to locate the file on your computer. Checkeeper can print and mail attachments and enclosures with your payments.
