Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has proposed a 10-year plan to revamp the United States Postal Service. The ultimate goal? Maximize consistency in delivery schedules while decreasing costs.

How will this affect your mail? Well, it probably won't.

These new changes will add 1-2 days to the delivery time for long distance First Class mail. If I mailed a check to San Francisco from Greenville, South Carolina it would take 5 days. Why? Air transportation will be reduced in half to shift the focus for on-land travel.
