If you are new to Checkeeper, or if you are still considering the free trial, you may have some questions about Checkeeper's many unique features. Here are answers to some commonly asked questions to help make your decision easier:
No. The MICR-encoded font that bank computers recognize for routing and account numbers is automatically generated when you print a check with Checkeeper, and no special ink or toner is needed. Your standard home or office printer is suitable for printing Checkeeper checks.
As many as you like! There are no limits at Checkeeper, either during the trial or afterward, which is ideal for businesses that have a varying amount of checks each month and don’t want to pay extra for heavy usage.
Your choice. Checkeeper offers four priority delivery speeds—three with tracking options—to give users choices over the timing and tracking of their payments. While routine bill payments can typically go out via standard USPS First-Class Mail, larger or more urgent payments may require Next-Day or Second-Day delivery. Orders placed before 4pm EST can be in the mail by the end of the business day; checks that are being delivered to a single address can be consolidated into one batch for more economical printing and mailing.
Nothing. Authorizing additional users is a good way to delegate some of the payment responsibilities without giving up control or oversight and without spending more money. Simply add the names and email addresses of new users you wish to authorize, and Checkeeper will send them a secure link to follow to get their account access set up.
Easily. Checkeeper makes it easy to manage multiple businesses simultaneously from the same account login and dashboard. If you manage payments for multiple companies—either as an owner or as a bookkeeper—you can have them all listed in your account for simplified, efficient access. Each business incurs its own subscription and comes with its own: online registry, saved check templates, uploaded logos and designs, designated add-ons, and mailing settings.
Yes. Checkeeper integrates with many widely-used accounting software services, including QuickBooks Online, to offer a customizing check option with data automatically recorded and synced among multiple platforms simultaneously.
Yes. Checkeeper satisfies payroll options for those employees paid by paper check. More information about connecting Checkeeper to Gusto can be found inside your Checkeeper account. Checkeeper also works with other payroll software, or it can function as a stand-alone service for printing and mailing paychecks to employees who work onsite or remotely.
No contract required! Checkeeper offers simple, month-to-month access with no contract or commitment required. Use Checkeeper for as long or short a term as needed. If you need something quickly in an emergency—if your usual accounting or payroll software has suffered a breach or shutdown, for instance—Checkeeper can step in on short notice to prevent payments and paychecks from being disrupted. If you need a longer-term solution, such as an affordable, customizable alternative to pricey bank and third-party checks—Checkeeper is the answer.
Yes! Checkeeper prints and mails checks all day, and Checkeeper offers simple, efficient, affordable check printing and mailing options for professionals who are traveling, out of supplies, low on time, or simply don’t have the interest in printing and mailing checks. Add some mailing credits to your account, and you’re ready to go. Checks ordered before 4pm EST can be in the mail according to your preferred delivery speed within that same business day. Data is automatically recorded and stored for you in your searchable online registry so that you can review the issued checks on your own time.
