Consolidated Account Management For Business Owners and Bookkeepers

Checkeeper offers consolidated account management so that business owners and bookkeepers can issue payments for multiple businesses or clients at once, all from the same account page. Instead of managing multiple logins, passwords, and authentication codes every time you want to issue a payment, opt for a single Checkeeper account that keeps all your records organized—yet separated from each other—in one convenient place.

How does consolidated access work?

Add businesses

Each added business incurs its own subscription so that each one gets its own storage for payment history, saved templates, and reports. Add secondary and tertiary businesses inside the Checkeeper ‘Administration’ page, each with its pertinent contact information, and access all of them from the same Checkeeper account and login.

Create and save separate check templates

Use different check styles for each business without overlap. Checkeeper enables multiple saved check templates for each business, distinct with its own contact information and bank account numbers, so that users can go between them to retain a customized and unique look for each business with all the accurate information saved.

Checkeeper does not go into users’ bank accounts or move their money around in order to design, print, or cash viable checks. Checking account and routing numbers appear as they are input, automatically reformatted in the MICR font required by bank computers; users can save as many linked checking accounts as needed so that each business gets checks printed for the correct designated account.

Upload design images and create custom check fields

Checkeeper offers check customization options not found with standard bank checks. Upload color logos, backgrounds, or design images to help brand your checks in a way that complements the other marketing material sent out. Change, resize, or replace logos altogether if your branding requires it. If you prefer a custom check element, such as customer ID or invoice number, simply add the element to your menu of check fields and drag-drop the new line into the desired place. Deactivate the custom element if and when you no longer need it. A custom check elements adds an additional search criterion when you need to find a payment or series of payments quickly. Bookkeepers appreciate the simplified account management for issuing payments for multiple clients while still managing all their various designing and printing preferences.

Maintain a designated smart check registry for each business

One of the most important features Checkeeper offers users who manage payments for more than one business at a time is keeping the registries separate. All Checkeeper accounts come with an online registry that does the recording and storing of payment data for you, and when you want to track a payment or pull up a list of payments made within a date range, you want to keep the records as specific, narrow, and accurate as possible. Each business has its own smart check registry that will search for those check payments appropriate to its designated company.

Run separate reports for each business

Checkeeper keeps all the searching and reporting features autonomous so that users can track expenses and run reports for each business separately and without inadvertent overlap or misplaced entries. Use the reporting feature to generate a comprehensive spreadsheet that lists the check fields for every check created within the time frame designated.

Managing businesses separately within Checkeeper offers business owners and bookkeepers these key advantages:

·      More organized expense tracking

·      Flexibility to issue payments for many clients at once, all from a single account login

·      Automatic recording of all payment data in separate online registries that are searchable according to any check field or custom time frame

·      Designated user permission settings that enable super users to monitor account usage

·      Comprehensive reports that are specific to their designated businesses
